Jianping Chen, chairman of Jemite and founder of Defense, believes that mobile phone cases are a widely used but deeply misunderstood industry. For a long time, consumers' impressions of mobile phone cases are mostly cheap and low-tech, and Jusui intends to break this impression. In his view, anti-drop is a big rigid demand for mobile phone case users, and therefore regard it as a breakthrough for product differentiation.

Initially, Defense placed its main markets overseas and established stable sales channels in large stores such as Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. According to official data, JMT has more than 200 million users worldwide so far, and its own brand of Defense has a market share of the top 5 mobile phone cases in the United States.

In 2019, Defense sold more than 4 million mobile phone cases worldwide. This year, Defense announced its return to the Chinese market and named it "Decision".

On August 24, Jemite was successfully listed on the Growth Enterprise Market with an issue price of 41.26 yuan per share. On the day of listing, the market value of intraday shares exceeded 10 billion. The mobile phone case industry has always been full of hills and lack of industry integrators, and Jemite has been called "the first stock of mobile phone cases in China" for this reason.

In the prospectus, Jemet disclosed sales data for the three years from 2017 to 2019: 2017 revenue was 540 million, and net profit was 39.8284 million; in 2018, revenue was 650 million, an increase of 19.57%, and net profit was 61.2954 million. , An increase of 53.9%; in 2019, revenue was 830 million, an increase of 28.2%, and net profit was 130 million, an increase of 113.98%.

Since its establishment in 2006, one of Jemite’s main business has been to provide ODM/OEM foundry services for accessory manufacturers or smartphone manufacturers, and Huawei is an important customer. In addition, Jemite has also opened up its own brand business, and the mobile phone case brand decision is one of them.

The prospectus shows that in 2019, Jemet’s smartphone protection products achieved revenue of 650 million yuan, an increase of 31.47% compared with 2018.
